Community Charities Golf Tournament
Community Charities holds an Anual Golf Classic at Le Sueur Country Club. All proceeds from this tournament are donated to the Miracle League of North Mankato. Mark your calendars for our 9th Annual Golf Classic which will be held on Monday May 14th, 2012.
Last Years Event:
Last year’s even had 15 teams participate at the Le Sueur Golf & Country Club in Le Sueur, Minnesota. We were able to raise $9,000.00 for The Miracle League at Fallenstein Field in North Mankato.
We would like to thank all of this year’s sponsors, volunteers and participants which made this such a successful event.
This year’s event was won by the Bridgewater Bank team which consisted of Terry Keller, Damon Gowlland, Josh Fjerstad, and Steve Nixt who shot 14 under 58 . This year, two teams each won a skin. On #2 the Terry Keller team had a 2, and on #12 the Fred Polzin team had a 3. Each skin was worth $120.
Other winners were: Men’s longest drive #5 Josh Fjerstad, Women’s longest drive #12 Sue Roemer, Men’s closest to the pin #13 Joe Lyons, Women’s closest to the pin #6 Sue Harty, Men’s longest putt #18 Damon Gowlland, Women’s longest putt #9 Lisa Holthaus.
